ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Customer Service Representative/Receptionist with Kathy Whitburn State Farm Agency, you will generate the kind of exceptional client experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you an ideal fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.  MI and/or WI Property & Casualty Insurance Licensing is required and must be successfully attained within 30 days of hire date.

This position is a part-time afternoon position approximately 20-25 hours per week. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Receptionist duties as assigned including answering the phone and greeting customers in office.
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information in person and on the phone.
  • Assist clients with policy changes and updates.
  • Conduct client appointments and provide product quotes.
  • Process insurance claims and follow up with clients.
  • Pro-actively provide cost saving information to clients via outbound calls.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • MUST HAVE MI & WI Property and Casualty Insurance Licensing Required or ability to attain within 30 days of hire date.
  • MUST Successfully Pass Criminal Background check.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, critical thinking skills and able to multitask.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook knowledge required.
  • Strong Keyboarding Skills and ability to learn software quickly. 
Compensation: $14.00 - $16.25 per hour
